STUDENT PRAYER REQUESTS November 2, 2019

Greetings,

Attendance remains steady, and it was a blessing to see two students return in Dixon Discipleship; Adam from school and Richard from work.

In the Discipleship classes, we continued our course ‘The Basics of Christian Life’ with the teaching ‘Means of Grace; Baptism’

In our Dixon’s Malachi Dads class on Wednesday from ‘The Heart of a Man,’ the teaching was a lesson on a prayerful heart. Attendance is still low there. Please pray for some new students. In the two Sheridan Malachi Dad classes from the book ‘Family Restoration,’ the teaching was from the chapter on ‘Fake Peace’ dealing with conflict amongst denial and conflict.

It was humbling when the Sheridan 5 PM Discipleship class prayed for my mom and her upcoming medial test and that it will result in the removal of her feeding tube, allowing her to return to her home — trusting in God for a miracle.

To Him be the glory!

Wayne - Please pray that I stay focused on what God wants me to do and get out of my own way. Thank you, PS, thanks for your prayers. You are in mine.

Wesley - Pray for my mom and dad to have money for bills and other expenses. And for their health issues. And pray that I can stay in the Lord and can get ready to go home and do Your work for You, Lord. Thank you.

Wesley - Can you pray for my son's mom if she has a boyfriend? My mom found a photo on Facebook with a man that looks like he is a boyfriend. Can you pray that he treats her with respect and honor, and he is a godly man if not that she can help him to Christ, and he would not stop her from going to church? And would help her out with the kids and would encourage her in a loving way, and if that they are to get married that it would be a happy marriage and be honoring to God and last for a very long time before they die of old age. Thank you.

A. C. - Heavenly Father, thank you for this day. Thank you for loving me and the grace You blessed me with. Please be with Scott, Michelle and Scott's son Cameron, may they be blessed and kept safe. Please be with my kids and keep them safe as they go to school and work each day. Pray for Scott's mom may she heal in her health and able to return home again. Please be with me as I look for places to go so that I can return to my family back in Iowa. I pray this in Your Son's name, amen!

Sheridan Correctional Center Evening

Juan - Pray for my family, may they all stay healthy and strong and most for my family in Northern California and all the other families who had to evacuate because of the deadly fire.

David - Thank you for all the prayers. Please keep praying for us all here; it makes a difference. Pray for peace here for our volunteers for our hierarchy from Warden to CO. For our family's safety, healthy provisions, for school, work release, and good-time. Stay warm and safe, and remember how much your extended family here at Sheridan appreciates all you do!

No name - Pray for my children; Reese, Rileigh, Ramsey, Cash, and Wyatt for protection and guidance from the Holy Spirit.

Alex - Pray for my family's strength while we enter through these holidays and hope they don't miss me too much. I'll see them once I MSR (parole) or until my case/appeal/re-trial gets resolved. I have faith that I'll win and be out by Christmas.

Damareo - Please pray for me and my wife Miranda as we go to court later in the month that God gives us mercy and forgives us for our sins. Also, please help me with anxiety and my worrying and that my kids are safe.

Sheridan Correctional Center Late

Aaron - Please pray that Lewis will stay strong in his newfound belief and seek knowledge of the Lord through scripture fellowship and worship.

Justin - My baby girl – hospital breathing issues. My best friend, Elizabeth's recovery. My family; mother, sister, brothers, and all the inmates here at Sheridan and staff.

Everett - Pray for God to bring me home to my children in February.

Anthony - For my children's safety, health, and obedience. For my continual strength and endurance to get through this jail stint. For favor, for three months, good-time. That my children get to know God. For God to chisel away what's not of Him from my life. For my health and strength.

Ronald - Pray for us here at Sheridan and all the other correctional centers. Also, that our Father intercedes and gives us the knowledge of how and what to pray about, and for our families. Also, a special prayer for my wife and kids, things are still on thin ice! And that God directs me down the path he wants me to travel.
