More than 70 courses are available, most based on Christian classics from prior centuries. The emphasis is on personal application to the heart (therefore, no 'diplomas' are offered). Course authors from previous centuries include C. H. Spurgeon (Baptist), Horatius Bonar (Presbyterian), J. C. Ryle (Anglican), A. W. Pink (non-denominational), and John Bunyan (Independent). The courses are designed to focus the student on the personal application of God's Word. Each course consists of reading material with study questions for each chapter. MZBI send thousands of courses each year to all 50 states and Canada, and has mailed to 4,000 facilities.

Mount Nebo Prison Ministries
Offers a 13-chapter workbook called "Fundamentals of the Faith" that begins to ground believers in the Word. Upon completion, they receive a MacArthur Study Bible. There are hundreds of prisons that have had little or no exposure to our Historic Christian Faith's teaching. Mt. Nebo is committed to teaching the incarcerated believer God's Word and to see them be the instruments on their mission field that God uses to reach the lost with the Gospel of Grace.
Mt Nebo distributes the workbooks nationally. When s prisoner completes it, they send the completed workbook to Mt Nebo for review and, if completed sufficiently, receives the John MacArthur Study from MT. Nebo. In SOCPM's partnership with Mt. Nebo, Mt Nebo sends a bulk of workbooks and Bibles to SOCPM, and SOCPM handles all the administration sends updates to Mt Nebo as needed. Through this partnership, the SOCPM student is made aware of the program, receives the workbook in most cases teh the following week, and when he completes it, SOCPM does the reviewing and again, in most cases, receives his Bible the following week. In addition to teh expediency this partnership provides, it also saves the SOCPM student the cost of mailing the workbook to Mt. Nebo.
