Back in the prisons again!
The first week back is always one of the most enjoyable weeks. Reuniting with many students I consider friends, sheep and more.
It is quite possible, many of the Sheridan students will be receiving 'good time.' So the enthusiasm at Sheridan was quite high. However, many trials and challenges as you read in their prayer requests.
No mention of 'good time' at Dixon. Turnout was low in the Discipleship class due to a lockdown being lifted only a couple of hours before the start of class time. Apparently, students were being told classes were canceled
Oh well, one of the many challenges in prison ministry but the joys far outweigh the challenges.

Larry - My name is Larry Coleman. God bless I'm writing today for you guys to pray for my family. I feel the devil is weighing really hard on my loved ones. I talked to my mother and she told me my nieces had a fight with my youngest sister. That's the second time my niece a fight with my sister so I'm asking for you guys to pray for my family. Thanks and again God bless.
Randy - Nephew Ian for protection. Family for salvation. Scott's ministry. Scott and Michelle's health. Guidance of the Holy Spirit daily.

May You bless the men here at Dixon and keep them in Your word. May You be with Scott and his family through their needs. Sheridan Correctional Center Afternoon
Max - Favor with the administrators for peer educator, to get my certification to teach/promote health, the sanctity of sex, physical Doctor checkups at Sheridan/Westcare. My wife and four kids ages 17, 18,19 and 23. My boys Max, Mark, and Justin and daughter Christina to receive scholarships for college paid in full. My wife to stay strong healthy, favor with her job at Chick-fil-A first Mexican/American operator! Pray for the peace of Jerusalem Psalm 122:6-9. Joshua 1:1-9. Favor with Springfield for my license to be reinstated/approved. Already made contact with the safety/financial and administration to start the process. Implemented SR- 22 insurance which is step one going forward.
Joe - Prayers for my fiancé Malashia who is in a county jail for having someone else's drugs in her car. I pray that the courts/DA will show mercy and God's will be done with favorable outcome on her court date March 7th. Amen.
David - Favor my children and for my wife. Pray that I get credit plus for the time I already did in the county.
Sir - I have a prayer request for the Lord God Almighty to envelope every fiber of my being, so that sin may not have any room in my life. I request for the Lord God Almighty to give me joy, peace and rest in Him and His eternal family. I pray for my talents to glorify Him (music, ministry). I also pray for me to find a good faith-based church and that I find my family that is the church triumphant. I pray that I may find good accountability partnership and good sponsors. I pray for my earthly family (my kids, mother, and brothers), that they may draw closer to God, and that I may be a more prominent figure in their lives. I haven't heard from them in two months. I pray I hear from them. Just so I know they're okay.
No name - Prayer of thanks and grace and mercy. I love you, heavenly Father. Pray for my wife, that she gets back to placing "God first" and for all our kids and family, friends and enemies. Pray for Scott and family, pray for Scott's son Cameron that he's safe, healthy and at peace. Prayer needed for me and how I got done unjustly in my employment here at Sheridan. In Jesus Christ name I pray this and ask that my spirit or His Holy Spirit finish this prayer.
Allen - Can you pray for my mother Lydia for a speedy recovery from her heart surgery and a stroke, family, friends, etc. Thank you for your patience and generosity.
Robert B. - Pray for John and his future which begins again at the end of March. Thanks.
Ronald - Please pray that the Lord uses me in His ministry to serve Him and to do His will.
Steve - I pray for my continued faith in you and your everlasting love. Also, to continue working to help and be kind to others. The health of my family, friends and Mary and her family. That Calsey and Tracy find their way from heroin addiction. In Jesus Christ name I pray this to you. Amen.
John - Ask God to take the urge and the taste of alcohol/drugs/cigarettes/lust from me. Pray for my release from prison on three 03/30/18. To go down the right path in no God's people.
Robert B. - My dedication to change. Please pray for my concentration and focus. Pray for help and defining and keeping new boundaries. Pray for the kinds of people to be present in my life that are fun, positive, and supportive. Thank you.
John - Pray for my family, Ruth, she has an illness in which doctors don't know what is the matter with her. She is sick all the time throws up a lot. Pray for my son Aaron he is in the Marines for almost 7 years, for his safety and we (me and him) can have a relationship together. My grandpa my grandparents (Eldor 95, Mildred 92) for their health. Pray for Robert B. for his health and his safety.
John - Pray for Jean, that she turns away from drugs and alcohol. That she sets her life on the right path. For her health, she is in a wheelchair.
No name - Pray for Bea that her life becomes better. She struggles with her faith and she barely makes any money to survive and doesn't go to church anymore.
No name - Play for Dalorise, she is still grieving for her loss of her son and her husband, so she is very mad at God. So she can fill her heart back up with love. Before she was a very good Christian but now she is lost. She is around 70 something years old.

Randall - Please pray for my mom, Kathy, her living situation, her health situation, happiness, and financial. Pray for my dad, Steven, health, and our relationship, may it be mended. Ivana and her cancer and our relationship, is it real (girlfriend). Dawn also, still a best friend after our breakup, for her health, happiness, and financial. Brother Todd's health, happiness, and financial. Stepmom Vicky, her health, happiness, and financial. And myself for health, understanding, happiness, my character defects, financial situation, living situation, to get back to good, self-discipline, control. Sister Tammy and her kids, my nieces and nephews, and their kids. Mr. Waterford for his health and his son and their happiness and financial matters. May we all find peace and happiness understanding and wisdom. Thank you. Just everybody may we all be safe.
No name - Pray that I can readjust to society upon my release options and options present themselves to me smoothly so my life can start successfully and that six months good time is awarded to me so this can start! Pray that I receive forgiveness and that things open up for another chance from my loved ones and that they (Crystal) reach out to me. That my loved ones remain in good health and happiness and a special prayer for Carol that her surgery is very successful and her recovery is speedy and has relief from her COPD. Robert - I need help with being angry. I need help with feeling lost and not knowing what God's purpose for me is. Pray for me to stop being so lazy to read my Bible. pray that my family will forgive me for being absent as well as everything else.

Jason - I would like to send prayers out my family at home, to watch over my daughter's health, hearts, and joy.

Robert - Pray that my relationships with my family will be repaired. Pray that I'll stop being so lazy! Pray for my family's health and happiness. Keep them safe. Please God remove my pride/anger. Pray that God can heal my body, mind, soul. Pray that I receive an understanding of all the "whys." I need prayer that God will show me what he wants from me/needs me to do. To help the mother of my children excel self-control over her tongue. And to cleanse your heart of all its impurities and to strengthen her spiritually it all means. AMEN.
Lucas - My mother is sick and my little sister just had a baby. They both live in Florida and I'm trying to parole down there with them but I'm still waiting for the approval. Please pray that everything will be okay that they'll be safe and that I'll get the approval to parole down there with them as they need me down there. Amen. Thank you.
