STUDENT PRAYER REQUESTS November 24, 2018

Greetings,

I hope all of you had a nice Thanksgiving. Mine was blessed especially with my 91-year-old mom, Mary, visiting from Henderson, NV.

With the now past Thanksgiving and the upcoming Christmas, a hard time of the year arrives for my students and other inmates. Please be sure to pray for the loneliness, regrets, and despair that they'll encounter in the upcoming weeks. Also please pray for prison staff, especially the correctional officers.

With the Christmas season, my students and other inmates emotions are often expressed in negative ways causing a stressful job as a correctional officer to become even more stressful. One statistic states the suicide rate for Corrections Officers is 39% higher than the average for other occupations. Please be mindful of including them and the rest of the jail and prison staff in your prayers.

As always with a heartfelt gratitude thanks for your prayer support.

To Him be the glory!
