Greetings,
Good-time for SOCPM students is a blessing but as I've shared before it is bittersweet for me, as I see many students are being paroled. This past week has seen several current SOCPM students be paroled; William, Raymond, Robert, Ryan, Steve & Parris. What makes it more bittersweet is they all have been good students.
The alumni section of Student Prayer Request is a request though not directly from the students themselves is a request from SOCPM asking for prayer for these men.
You may notice that many students who are nearing parole share the anxieties they experience as that parole date once that seemed to be an eternity on the calendar becomes a reality. All the promises they have made to self and others are now a reality to live out.
Chuck Colson Founder of Prison Fellowship once said: “The road home is possibly the most difficult journey an ex-prisoner will ever make.”
Please keep these men in prayer.

And keep your name always on my tongue, and keeping a happy heart and fellowship with as many men here so that they can walk as you. And understand you. Steve - Dear God, I pray that I can continue to walk and live in your light upon my release. I can find a good church continue taking time daily to stay and meditate on your word. I pray for the health and safety of my family and friends. That Kelsey, Tracy, and Cameron all find their way from their addictions. Also, for all the men at Sheridan that they may find their way to salvation. I pray this to you and your glorious Son's name, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Gavin - pray for a quick recovery for Stephanie in my newborn godson John Gabriel. For God's will and the strength and wisdom to walking it. A more intimate and closer relationship with Jesus Christ. A humble servants heart and attitude. Continued revelation and confirmation. Healing for Linda's mother and Linda. Healing for my mother and myself because by his stripes we are healed. In Jesus name.
Jason - my grandma on my mother's side just had a heart attack, and last I heard she was paralyzed on left side. Please give her prayer and allow me to make it to her.
Rob - Please pray for me that I quit being so angry about my life and that I finally get it. Also, that I will become able to forgive myself for becoming so very lost.
Jason - I need prayer to stop living in fear and worry of failure to bring my self-worth up and to bring God into my life and surround my family with true forgiveness. Prayer for reduced ignorance and continued battle beaucoup is better and take a look at themselves.

Jason - Prayer for my lawyer that just touched base with me and said he would help. I need prayer to keep his heart big and ambitious for my case.
Jason - I need prayer for myself. I have been feeling bitter and worried about my mother and my children's situation. I haven't slept well because of lack of communication with them. I need prayer for reconnection and a proper ????? with my mother.
Jason - I leave July 13 thirteenth and have a lot of things to accomplish and to stay steady on my feet and sober. Please give me a prayer to keep in clear vision of reentry into the world.

William - I pray that where I'm at is where God wants me to be and my personal growth pleases God's kingdom of heaven, that might works are glorifying God. With all that I can gain is in line with helping others rise out of their torments and personal hell. Pray for Scott, my teacher. God's blessings and favor over his life and family to grow with God and any chains holding them back from growth are broken. In Jesus name, I praise these chains are broken.
William - I need prayer over my girlfriend, her family, my family and self for God's plan to continue to develop and grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically. I do love God's blessings and the challenges I face begin to accumulate I at times feel overwhelmed and get frustrated. But, with God's Holy Spirit working on me to obtain clarity, peace, persistence to continue. I'm really growing and maturing. I'm thankful for God's will.
William - I want to thank God for the health and wellness God has shown favor over my life. Also, for the men and the women who are praying over our requests. I pray right now God love shines with blessings and peace and unity over their lives.
Robert (Bob) - I desire to be more positive/optimistic outlook. Also, pray for the health of my grannie Loretta.
Sir - I pray that the Lord God Almighty give me a good sponsor. I pray that the Lord God Almighty allows me to make a smooth transition process in my reentry. I pray for the holy communion of saints and all their endeavors. I pray God creates avenues for me in music ministry. I pray that I go to a good faith-based Bible teaching church, that I meet and fellowship with godly people, and perhaps meet a God fearing woman to become my wife one day.
