Greetings,
Praise God for weather that was much more accommodating to students as they walked to the classroom this Friday, at Sheridan, and attendance was up. However, there is still an ongoing issue with students not receiving class passes or a CO, not letting them attend.
The temporary chaplain at Sheridan has been reinstated since one else is available.
Dixon hired a new Chaplain. I had lunch with him Wednesday, along with the current temporary chaplain. He was quiet, so it was hard to get a read on his character. He will be in training for the next several weeks. Pray he will be an advocate for both volunteers and inmates.
On a personal note, my mom continues to adjust to her new way of life at the rehabilitation facility. I ask for prayers for her continued healing and to continue to find strength and comfort in Jesus Christ. Pray that Medicare will cover all the medical costs and that she gets a private room. Ideally, pray that she can return to Prestige.

Ernest - Hello, my heart and prayers are for Scott's mother and son. My fiancé had a car accident and totaled her car; it's rough for us now. Can you lift her and our daughter up? I have a petition in the OR at the Illinois Supreme Court it's been 131 days so far. They usually do it within 60 to 90 days. It's been there 51 days past 90 days. I believe this is good news, that they are going to either give me a new trial or throw my whole case out. If they do, I will be out of prison as late as March 4, 2020, and if I get three months good time, I will be leaving December 4, 2019. Thank you.
Wesley - Pray for me to stay and grow in Christ's and help my family to do the same thing and help me keep doing God's work when I get out that He wants me to do.
Wayne - Please pray that Lena, Tony, and I get on track and start living up to our full potential as children of God. Thank you, PS I am praying for Scott's family.

Ramone - Pray to keep me hungry for the word of God. Pray to give me the ability to spread the word of God to a younger generation. Pray to put forgiveness in my son's heart for me leaving him for most of his childhood. Pray to find a Bible-teaching church once I'm released. Pray to find a decent job, home, wife, car upon my release.
Richard - I would like the division in my family to be broken. As well as addiction holds and binds to be broken. Pray that the mother of my children (Tyra) would be strengthened and that she would allow this trial and tribulation to shape her character rather than break her down.

Chris - I would like for you all to pray for me. I'm going home on October 18, 2019, and I'm dealing with a lot that I really don't need to, and it's messing with my attitude extremely. So please pray for me to release this anger.
