Greetings,
It was a day of sadness for SOCPM on hearing of the death of Dr. R. C. Sproul. I love and read the works of many theologians but R. C. was by far has had the most impact on my own spiritual growth.
As I posted on Facebook of my 1,000+ students through my years in prison ministry, maybe 10 ever heard of R.C. Sproul before attending a SOCPM class where R. C. Sproul is the teacher in a majority of the Discipleship curriculum. He has become a favorite to many and through his teachings, many have turned from the false prosperity gospel to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Though not a personal friend DR. R. C. Sproul I had a personal fantasy of having an opportunity to meet personally with R. C. Thus God never opened the door in large part is because I would no doubt have been lost for words to have a sound discussion on theology.
There are many tributes to R. C. from many of the significant teachers and theologians of God's Word. The one that I've savored the most is the one by Sr. Steven Lawson, The R. C. I Knew

No name - pray for the wellness of Cameron as she walks into a new beginning. Lead and guide him as he walks the streets of Arizona. Strengthen the cables family with your grace period keep their faith and love strong.
Rod - 18 days - Still seeking God with His help intensely each day. Pray that God brings long-term change to me in the most critical areas of my life that He reveals and even prioritizes. Pray for God to help my wife give her losses and hurt to God and trust that He can redeem and change sinners. Help me to share with God's help exactly what God wants me to say when we connect after these 40 days. It must be His revelation and spirit led. Pray God's hope can break through all hurt and despair. Help us not to dwell on the loss, but what is left and all He will have in store for us if we have faith to believe and surrender all to him.

You're having trouble talking and could you also please pray for me to find a way to do my job without any problems and thank you for praying for me. Erick - I would like to pray for all the children to grow in the name of the Lord. To have the Word of God in their hearts. God's Word to spread abundantly throughout the world. For His Word to be expressed through me and the next man. I would like to pray that God would bring my mother's heart close to Him and repent so she'll be accepted into the kingdom of heaven. To be able to have a relationship in the next life as well. As this life in the flesh. Amen.
Paul - Prayer for my wife, family, friends, enemies, etc. Prayer for myself for except the things which are out of my control. Prayer for Scott and his son Cameron.
Richard - Please pray for my girlfriend, Yvonne, as she was a heroin addict before I got arrested and sent to prison here at Sheridan C.C. Please pray that she finds her way to drug and alcohol rehabilitation and finds happiness and most important please pray that Yvonne finds Spiritual fulfillment through Christ, so that the happiness that I pray for her to have in her life is a happiness that's Spiritually founded that way she would never ever have to experience spiritual pain anymore. Also, please pray for my mother to find funds necessary to get her dental work done, and for her vehicle to be repaired or she finds the funds for her to acquire a new vehicle.
Steve - I pray for my continued faith in the Lord. Also, to assist in my studies of the Bible and prayer. Pray for the health of my family, Merup (??) family and that Calsey can find her way out of her heroin addiction. Amen.

Derrick - I would like to ask God to keep me safe keep me on the right path. Please help my wife to stay strong with everything and help her to do what she needs to do, hopefully if it's my time I can get some good time ,if it is God's will for me to come home early or when its set for me too.
Toby - Please continue to pray for my family. Toby Jr's mother has expressed interest in me, although I'm not exactly sure to what degree. Nonetheless, she will be here with my family to pick me up and drive me to transition house. I suspect that she thinks or wants everything to continue as before, intimately speaking. Again, please pray for us. In The past I have been wildly influential in her life. My intentions are to communicate to her my three most important things. My relationship with God, my recovery and my family. My world will revolve around these things if she is on board great if not we'll need to part ways. Please pray that God will establish me well at the transitional house for 3 to 4 months. Pray that I'll get affiliated with a solid church and other believers as well as new friends within the AA community. Pray that He will help he establish prayer times, reading of the Word and fellowship on a regular basis. These disciplines are essential ingredients for my success. Also praying, that God will give me wisdom and discernment in regards to my relationship with her. Thankfully, while at transitional house we will be one hour apart from each other. Time to pray and observe. Regardless of the status of our intimate relationship, please pray that God would help me to model and pattern the life of Christ to both Kristen and Toby Jr.
