Greetings,
An OK day at Dixon, Sheridan had a 1st shift staffing shortage, thankfully only four buildings were on lockdown and not the full facility. Three of the four classes were affected, but all was normal for the final class.
It appears IDOC is looking to empty a good number of cells, at least at Sheridan. Word is an inmate gets ten days of good-time for each Malachi Dads class. I was joking with the guys, that there will be a tuition hike of 10%, on the current tuition $0.00. There apparently are other incentives hence a few prayers for six mons good times.
A bit of a sad note Michael an evening Discipleship student has who been submitting two or three prayers a week to in hopes of going home (July 20th) to return to his family had those hopes denied. A new date is in September. He has taken in stride. When I expressed my sorrow, he replied, 'It's alright that just a little more than a month away it will come quick.' It's a joy to hear contentment even in unanswered prayers.

Bruce - Good morning Father God! Oh, what an amazing, gifted day. Your love has reached out to us so that we may be joyfully happy, that if you had not died on the cross and shed Your innocent blood, for our sins. Today I ask for forgiveness for any worldly actions or deeds that I may have done without knowing them, that I repent wholeheartedly and you're a purely to Your will. Our father who art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Father, there's never enough words that can be said, to show brother Scott and his family how much we appreciate him coming here to Dixon, to show us good news how about Christ's true meaning and how much he loves us. Father let Scott be blessed and Dixon administration peoples be blessed even when we feel they sometimes take the authority wrongfully against us. Yet they're in our prayers. Love.

William G. - Prayers for my girlfriend's sister, she is battling for her direction in life it has lead to health, legal, emotional decline. Distressed over my girlfriend is affecting her spirit so prayers for my girlfriend to receive peace, the right ways to maintain despite her hurts for others. Gods protection over her family as they endure these struggles.
Louis - I would like for you to pray for me, that I grow in wisdom and understanding. That I become more obedient to God's word. Also, I'd like for you to pray for my family.
Sir - Pray that my family comes closer to Jesus and enter a covenant relationship with Him. Pray, I can be an instrument for faithfulness and good works for them. Pray that God blesses me with a good Christian-based recovery or transitional home and program to go to (going home in two months). Play hi find a good mentor and accountability partner. Pray, I find a good CR or AA program to go to. Pray the Lord blesses my talents and presents me with opportunities to edify the church and give Him glory.
