I felt like a kid going to his first day in school Friday as I said good-bye to Michelle leaving for my return to Sheridan. It was a joy to see returning students and new students. It was a blessed day indeed.
There was a sad note as well though. Julio, an SOCPM student since February 2015 and scheduled for parole July 25th, this year, informed me he has liver cancer. It is apparently terminal though the doctors have said anywhere from 3 months or more. I was able to spend a short time with Julio, confirming his faith in the Gospel. Please be certain to lift Julio in prayer.

Michael S. - Would like for you to pray for my mother Jane, she was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease last month, she struggling with her walking and shortness of breath, I pray to God to make her hole again, and I know with the help of your prayers, that God will hear us and he will make her whole again, because I know I can't do it alone. Julio - Please pray for me Julio for my health to get better and to the Lord thy God. That the Father I love and honor forgive me for my sins. I'm guilty of every single one. I confessed that before you. I hope and pray that if I have to depart this world that I'll be in heaven and get to be with the Prince of peace, Jesus Christ. Such an honor. God bless, amen.
Derrick - Please pray for me and that when I read the Bible that I get more understand of the Bible. Please pray for my wife Erin and my kids, pray that my wife and son is okay and that my wife and son is reading the Bible and praying to Jesus Christ. Nate - Please pray for my father, Bill. He is currently fighting testicular cancer that has spread to his bloodstream and lymph nodes. His next appointment is July 19th when he'll find out if he needs further surgery and chemo or had a 50-50 chance that cancer will spread everywhere in six months. This is who's caring for my son, Austin, so please pray for him also.
