Greetings,
Though it's still a couple of weeks away from the start of 2016's 1st term of classes, I'm keeping busy preparing the weekly lessons for 'A Soldier's Call to Know God,' updates and enhancements to the database and working on the Powerpoint presentation for fund raising, my favorite activity in prison ministry, NOT!
With the objective of lessening the three hour task of preparing and sending the weekly prayer requests, I'm implementing a change in SOCPM alumni prayers. I've dropped the listing of classes the student attended.
Lastly, enjoying my additional time of Bible study on the book of Mark through Tabletalk and their Bible in a year reading plan.

Andrew - Please pray that God will provide healing. Pray for strength, hope and love for all. Please thank God for the work He's doing in my life. Finally, please pray for health and safety for my family and friends.
Rick - Thanks for God's grace and pray for His mercy. Please give thanks for Pastor Phil and brother Bobby. Please pray that Jesus comes in to my family's lives.

K'Ron - Prayer that we all love God and our neighbors as ourselves. Pray that we ask God for forgiveness and mercy daily. Pray that we thank God for all the blessings we do have instead of focusing on what we don't.
Julian - Pray that my court date goes well and I get to go home and be back with my family. Pray for me, that I don't come back to jail. Help me be strong and keep my head up and pray for my family.
Jeremiah - To continue to better communication between my ex-wife and myself for the twins we share, I've been here two years and she is raising them alone. Also for my motion date on the 19th. Amen.
Tyler - I really don't know what to say. Things for me spiritually have crumbled beneath my feet. I'm full of a lot of rage, pride, arrogance, distrust in feeling, very rebellious. I want to lash out again before authority and create occasions to fight with the officers. Angry with my attorney who's been lying to me and hasn't done anything to prepare my case for trial. I know my way is running contrary to the Lords and right now lacking ambition to turn back. I'm holding resentment against God which I know is right; but nevertheless I feel that way. I'm pulling away from him.
Chris - Lord give my family and me strength to make it through these hard times and to come out as better people and for our faith to be strong and the Lord help guide our path. Amen.
Lee - For patience and direction and mercy.
Cameron - Please pray that I get home to my family as soon as it is possible and accept my wrongs and forgive me for all the bad choices in my life. Thank you.
Henry - My prayer request is for family and friends. I pray for the nonbelievers that the Lord would touch their hearts and will show them the way. I pray for the believer that the Lord will clearly show them the way and build their hope and keep building faith in us. I pray for my lawyer that the Lord shine some light in my case and the Lord would give him the words necessary on my behalf. Thank you and God bless.

James - When the Lord decides to let me out on parole, I'll be happy.
Manny - For God to help me understand about Him and His word and to tell me what He wants me to do. To take away my selfish heart.
Cecil - For us all to submit to God daily, stand together in obedience to become usable vessels
to bring glory to God. for my my family, my sister and her boyfriend to come back to our family.
John - I ask for God to increase my journey and for my girlfriend and my grand kids to as well as they've done recently in Christ.
No name - For my health, feeling poorly for a while and for a letter from my son and that doc let him (21 yrs old) come to visit me here.
Larry - For my family back in Chicago to be sustained by God, while I'm away.

No name - I ask for the men and women of God to pray for our country to wake up and return to Jesus( 2nd Chron. 7:14-19) and for us who're locked up physically or in our minds. pray for our church here behind the wall and for me and my mother to be restored in our faith and trust in each other and she will be saved.
