A special request and a comment that God has put on my heart this week.
Pray for Tariq, he is an unbeliever and an angry man with a lot of hostilities. Tariq has tried to antagonize me with I think, the hope to have me respond by saying something negative to prove some point or whatever. After the second class I hoped he quit coming as he was intent on being a disruption. A couple of students asked if I'd like for them to step in and say something when he starts, 'I told them no, it may escalate into something no one wants.' At the end of the class I prayed for God to know His will, was Tariq here to do Satan's will or just an angry person with an attitude or both. God reminded me it is the 'Tariqs' of the prison system that I'm to give it my all and I need to be strong and persistent in my being a vessel of Christ and exhibit His love towards the Tariqs. Tariq hasn't exhibited any attempts of violence, just an interruptive voice. Praise God, Friday during class I heard side talk, something that I try to squelch but when I saw if was JD, a strong Christian, reading the Bible to Tariq and Tariq responding but in a quiet manner I could only think 'just maybe heart of rock is being penetrated if only a pin hole to soften Tariq's heart. Please pray that God will soften Tariq's heart and that we all have patience and that by God's grace he be blessed with a renewed heart and to God be all the glory.
You'll see be low in Sheridan's DYF evening class I put a portion of Michael's prayer request in bold. It is when I hear or read the guys say things like Michael states that brings me to tears and affirmation to preserve in my call. I'm so blessed to be a servant to Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
I also ask for prayers on my behalf. In folow-up to my hospitalization a couple of weeks ago, I will be having an upper GI on Tuesday. Please pray the test goes well, that all is well and no surgery will be required.

Julio - I like for you to pray for me that God give me the strength to get through my daily activities here, that I deal with my cellmate, my peers, the program. Please pray for my family, friends, enemies everyone. I also asked for a special prayer for myself Julio for God to bless me with a TV I don't have one and don't have any money to buy one. Lazarus - Communication has finally been established between me and the Department of Human Services regarding my son Landen and child protective services. Pray that are communications will go in a positive direction and improve Landen' situation and that he remains safe.
Dominic - Hello saints and children of God. First I pray for peace in Jerusalem, as well as whom ever may be interceding on my behalf. May our Father bless you in ways that are supernatural. I think of the Christians being tortured for being a believer, throughout the world I pray for a breakthrough in their lives as well as their prayer lives in Jesus name,the leaders of these various countries and all people who are in the position of power or authority, I pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon them in Jesus name, my daughter's mother and her Family I pray for. It seems that things are not showing a constant breakthrough with this relationship it it's been almost 3 1/2 years I've been away and it's good for a week or two then it's back to the hurt, pain, stress, worry and disrespect and I'm truly fed up, so I know now to remove myself from the situation, I feel it is God's will it won't be so hard, so please pray for us and our daughter not to be in the mist of things and for her not to be affected. Please pray for my family, my older brother's marriage, my little brother's legal issues, my mom's marriage, my cousin's daughter has found a liking to girls, my father and my family as a whole to gain or reaffirm our relationship with Jesus. And brother Scott's health to be as good as new.
Jose - I'm going home very very soon and I'm a bit scared. Temptations will always be around. I know that through God I can overcome it. I just want to be free from all the things that hold me down. Free from all the pain that tears me up inside please help that I achieve all my goals of recovery.
Michael - Please pray that Jenny, my daughter's mother, will continue to be such a supportive and wonderful mother to our daughter. She works so hard to make sure Abby needs nothing and is able to have fun extras. She also has been letting my daughter and me talk more frequently and she interacts with us both when we talk making it feel like a family thing pray also that Abby knows how much I love her. My dad, Ken, is now in a nursing home because his knee has still not healed after a knee replacement surgery two months ago. Please pray that he heals up soon and is able to get home ASAP because my mom really needs him home to help her. Pray for Scott that his health issues will heal up and that he'll be able to continue his ministry with all the inmates he helps so much.
Name not given - I would like to pray for the Lord to keep me and Mari together through all that we are going through that he keeps our love strong because He knows I really want to be with her. I can actually say yes I love her.
Pablo - I want to pray that God leads me in the right direction when I get out that I find a strong and am closer to God and stay on the right path. I have 1 1/2 months left and I'm beginning to worry for my freedom. I want to be a good father to my children and be there each and every day so right now I just pray that God keeps me with a positive state of mind and be with me through the obstacles in life. Derek - Can you please pray for my mom Anna. She has tendentious in her right hand, wrist and arm. It's painful for her and she is 81 and lives by herself. Again please pray for my wife Davina. She still has not wrote or visited, not excepted my calls. I'm really to my wits and with her as she refuses to address the issues I write my letters to her. Vows I took before God I take seriously but it has been going on for sometime like three years off and on. It's been 62 days. If I don't hear from her by mid April I'll be filing for a legal separation so I can get some visitation with my daughter Ella. Thank you and God bless.
