Greetings,
It is hard to believe Spring is just a few weeks away. But still enough time to get buried in snow. However, I'm on the prison lockdown bench and my self-serving shows. So I'm okay with heavy snow. It would allow me to take some nice wintry pictures.
SOCPM Inside the Prison Gate: The lockdowns continue with definite date of it being lifted on the horizon.
SOCPM Outside the Prison Gate: With the prison lockdowns still in place, I've continued to give focus to SOCPM 2022 ministry plans.
On the Home Front: The physical scanning of pictures is complete! But the next phase awaits.
On the Prayer Front - All things family and SOCPM
These are the topics for this week's SOCPM Newsletter. I hope you enjoy it, despite my lack of an editor. Michelle would like to edit my newsletters (I think she has a deep-seated desire to be an English teacher with a red pencil in hand), but her work voids the time.
To Him be the glory in ALL things and Him alone,

I'm still finding tasks to keep myself busy, despite the ongoing lockdowns.
My wife often reminds me and tells others I'm my own worse critic. Such is the case when it comes to writing anything. I'm very conscious of my grammar, punctuation, etc. Even after using Grammarly, I'm never satisfied with the overall content. So, after many rewrites, edits, etc. I finally decided to forgo writing the 'perfect' Church Connect publication. Instead, I sent it to a couple of church Elders to review and perhaps seek a volunteer who has the skills to be a red pencil English teacher to finally get it a publication that is to the point and articulated well. If I were to continue on my skills, I would be interrupted by the sound of Jesus' return.
I've also spent some time making updates to another SOCPM publication, the Soldier's Creed. It is a publication I have on the SOCPM website. However, my own worse critic syndrome has told me it needs a bit of rework. I'm close but not quite yet satisfied π₯±
I've not given much attention to other projects, Gospel in a Box, website updates, etc. So, for now, I've put them on the back burner. I've decided that if I give my full attention to the above two projects until they're completed, I'll become less frustrated in trying to do all of them at once.

On The Home Front
The photo scanning is done! The total photos scanned were 4,373, plus duplicates. I've started the process of importing them into the Apple app Photos. As I import them, I put them into various albums, tagging the photo's general info, with information on the back of the photo; who, date, location, face identification, etc. Once I complete that step, I'll start distributing the images to various individuals. But wait! π³ Operation Photo scan will not be complete. It will only be put on hold until Michelle gives me the go-ahead to scan away her photos.
I'm praying health concerns will be answered this coming week. I think all the CTs and MRIs are done; I have a visit with two doctors, the neurologist who saw me when I was hospitalized back in December with equilibrium problems. After seeing some of the images from my December hospital stay, another doctor had concerns about investigating further. I pray once all is done with these visits to have some answers and hopefully answers that will not cause further woes.
On the Prayer Front
Cameron - I had a couple of phone calls with Cameron this past week. Neither was of the one-hour variety, but other than a cold, he is doing well. The fallout of having a cold is his employer won't allow him to work. Understandable, but it makes an already tight financial situation only tighter. Would you please pray his cold dissipates so he can return to work? Also, pray he stays connected to Pastor Root and his salvation, permanent sobriety, and Christian fellowship.
Michelle (aka my lovely bride) - A praise! Michelle passed teh Caboodle certification test. Another praise, after having a CT scan she had this past week, the doctor told her he saw nothing that caused concern.
Self - The doctors I see this week will tell me after all the imaging, there are no further concerns other than I'll have to learn to tolerate the discomfort in my neck due to arthritis on my cervical spine.
